Also, in 2018, he argued a NEPA-based case, opposing the construction of an Arizona freeway expansion, before the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. Howard previously worked with the San Juan Southern Paiute Tribe on enrollment, gaming, election and tribal governance issues. Howard has also represented the Gila River Indian Community gaming enterprise on licensing issues.. From 2005-2008, Howard represented the Navajo Nation, the Yavapai Apache Nation, the White Mountain Apache Tribe, and others in NEPA/RFRA/NHPA- based litigation in an effort to stop the use of reclaimed sewer water in artificial snow-making on the San Francisco Peaks, Coconino County. Professional Experience. Tom’s practice over the past 35 years has been extremely varied.. He’s practiced in complex litigation, hearings and trials in state courts, federal courts, and bankruptcy courts, in private arbitrations, mediations and appeals. He also has substantial experience representing debtors, creditors, trustees and committees in Bankruptcy Court and has successfully reorganized several companies and individuals, and represented creditors.. Tom started his practice in 1981 at Treon, Warnicke, Dann & Roush of Phoenix (after having been a law clerk there for two years) in the commercial practice section, where he was trained in litigation and trial skills by two former Maricopa County Superior Court judges. He started what became a substantial bankruptcy practice in 1982 when he represented Clifford Wolfswinkel in bankruptcy court in his dispute with his brothers. After that, he continued doing work in the bankruptcy court in several commercial cases.. Patrick is from Las Cruces, NM.  He attended New Mexico State University where earned his BA in Government.  He has settled in Phoenix, AZ with his wife Megan and two sons, Mason and Austin, after attending the Sandra Day O'Connor College of Law at Arizona State University.. Patrick is a veteran and spent 11 years in the military.  A former infantry officer and airborne ranger he continues to be active in the military community.  He continues to volunteer with Wills for Heroes and Victory House, a local veterans shelter.. My name is Glenn Roethler.  I am originally from the Puyallup area of Washington State.  I grew up on a small farm where I learned to appreciate diligence and hard work.. I paid my way through school by working in construction.  I have assisted in building several houses from start to finish while working for my Grandfather's construction company.. I have many outdoor interests.  Of these, motorcycle riding has become my chief hobby.  I also struggle with playing guitar and would like to start struggling to play drums (I am sure the neighbors will appreciate it).

Mr. Soelberg has a unique perspective that comes from hands on, private sector employer experience.  He understands the importance of effectively navigating legal risk reduction practices with real world business management.  Prior to joining the law firm of Davis Miles McGuire Gardner, Mr. Soelberg worked in house for one of the largest single member owned smoothie QSR franchisee.  With 38 store locations between Seattle, Washington and Phoenix, Arizona, and averaging anywhere between 600-800 employees at a time, there he gained invaluable practical legal and business experience, executing asset purchase agreements and franchise documents, supervising human resource administration, and overseeing all real estate and lease agreements. He saw firsthand how a thoughtful blend of both legal and business procedures reduced risk and complied with regulations, while maximizing business operation.. Mr. Soelberg is commonly referred to simply as “Erica Sandstrom’s husband.” They are the proud parents of five beautiful daughters.  He is an Arizona native and enjoys an active role in local politics. He loves people, the outdoors, cycling, college football, and smoked meats.

Mr. Medina, an Arizona native, grew up in the small mining community of Bagdad, Arizona. After graduating from the University of Arizona in 1989, Mr. Medina received a Patricia Roberts Harris Fellowship to attend Creighton University School of Law. He received his Juris Doctor degree in 1992.. Mr. Medina joined Davis Miles McGuire and Gardner in December 2017. He handles a wide variety of cases including: products liability, catastrophic injury cases, police misconduct, negligence, employment cases, class actions, medical malpractice, and other complex litigation matters. Since 1999, Mr. Medina has focused his practice on representing individuals and their families who have suffered catastrophic injuries or death. These cases often involve complex litigation against tire manufacturers, vehicle manufacturers, and other large corporations.. Mr. Medina was admitted to the Arizona Supreme Court in 1993. He was admitted to the Colorado Supreme Court in 1995. He is also admitted to practice before the United States Supreme Court, the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit, and United States District Court for the District of Arizona. Mr. Medina has also been admitted pro hac vice in numerous states including: California, Nevada, Utah, New Mexico, and Texas. He is a member of the American Association of Justice, the Attorney’s Information Exchange Group, and Million Dollar Trial Lawyers.

Matthew Lopez was born and raised in Phoenix, Arizona. He attended Arizona State University and received his undergraduate degree from the W.P. Carey School of Business. Matthew graduated at the top of his class and was recruited to work for a Fortune 500 Company. While in law school, Matthew was a Staff Editor of the Phoenix Law Review Journal and was a board member of the Hispanic Law Students Association. As a member of the Phoenix Law Review Journal, Matthew authored an award winning publication regarding the environmental effects of globalization. Matthew has worked for a well respected Maricopa County Superior Court judge, the City of Scottsdale Attorney's Office in its real property and civil litigation department and for a highly regarded civil litigation firm. Matthew is well respected within the legal community and collaborates, on a frequent basis, with several other highly respected attorneys.  As a member of the Arizona Attorneys for Criminal Justice, Matthew is consistently honing his legal knowledge and skills, in an effort to provide his clients with the best possible legal representation.

Mark Beller is former Prosecutor with both the City of Scottsdale and The Maricopa County Attorney's Office.  He has spent his entire career practicing criminal law.  He is a veteran trial attorney with a proven record of sucess.. Mr. Beller is a graduate of The University of Arizona and he received his law degree from Arizona State University College of Law. While in school he worked as an intern for the Maricopa County Prosecutor’s Office and the Pima County Public Defender’s Office. After Mr. Beller was admitted to the Arizona Bar, he practiced for five years as a Deputy County Attorney with the Maricopa County Attorney’s Office. While with the Maricopa County Attorney’s Office, he served in several trial divisions including as a mentor in charge of supervising and training new prosecutors.      After leaving the MCAO, Mr. Beller practiced as an Assistant City Prosecutor for the City of Scottsdale. During his six years as a Scottsdale Prosecutor, his practice was focused on driving under the influence cases as well as the specialized areas of juvenile law, commercial trucking enforcement, and retail liquor law violations. Mr. Beller has extensive experience in all areas of Criminal Law including the areas of driving under the influence and drug offenses.

Kolby has spent the last 20+ years as an active Tempe resident.. He graduated from McClintock High School and  has three degrees from ASU; a B.A. in Secondary Education, a M.Ed. in Educational Media, and a J.D. While at ASU, Kolby competed on the Sun Devil archery team, achieving All-American status as one of the top 10 collegiate male archers in the United States.. Kolby was elected to the Tempe City Council in May 2012. He previously co-chaired the City Council's Neighborhoods and Education Committee and was named by the Arizona Republic a 2013 Tempe Person of the Year.

Keith Berkshire is a certified specialist in Family Law, and a Fellow in the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers, at the Berkshire Law Office, PLLC. Keith was a member of the Arizona Supreme Court Task Force on the Arizona Rules of Family Law Procedure, which restyled and rewrote the Family Law Rules in 2018; he previously served on the Family Law Practice and Procedure Committee of the State Bar of Arizona, the Civil Rules Committee, as well as the State Bar of Arizona’s Family Law Section Executive Committee. Keith was also a member of the Court Procedures Workgroup for the Domestic Relations Committee of the State Legislature as part of the 2013 changes to the custody statutes, and has authored numerous other family law rules and statutes.. Keith is AV rated by Martindale Hubbell since 2012, is listed in Best Lawyers in America, and has been in the Super Lawyers Listing every year since 2012, including a selection as one of the Top 50 Lawyers in Arizona in all areas of practice, in 2017, 2018, 2019 and 2024.
