I was born and raised outside of Augusta, Georgia.  After graduating from UGA with two majors in Financial Planning and Consumer Economics, I decided to attend John Marshall School of Law.  At John Marshall, I was a staff member of law review, was the treasurer of the Sports & Entertainment Law Society, and even founded the John Marshall Softball Club.  While I wasn’t playing sports, I was clerking with the Fulton County District Attorney’s Office. Prior to joining The Wright Firm, L.L.P., I worked at Clark & Washington, LLC which is the largest bankruptcy filer in the State of Georgia.. I am a member of both the State Bar of Georgia and the State Bar of Texas. He focuses solely on issues relating to Bankruptcy at our firm, and it was a natural fit given my educational and professional experience.  At the firm, I am known for being an aggressive advocate for my clients and my extensive bowtie collection.. My wife and I live in Hewitt with our German Shorthaired Pointer, Walker. I am a third generation trial attorney. Both my dad and grandfather were trial attorneys.  I went to Baylor University and was a premedical student.  I graduated with a degree in biology, but since the apple doesn’t fall too far from the tree, I went to law school.. I have represented people who have been injured in serious trucking and automobile accidents, babies who have been injured as a result of medical errors at birth, and people who have been injured as a result of medical malpractice and other types of serious accidents.. I am an adjunct professor at Baylor Law School teaching Personal Injury Trial Law.  I have given talks across the country to labor and delivery nurses about the types of medical mistakes that I have seen in my birth injury cases to help educate these nurses on steps that they can take to prevent injuries to babies in the future.
