He has argued 47 appeals or original proceedings in the Supreme Court of Texas, has argued en banc to the federal Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals twice, and has appeared in all fourteen courts of appeal in Texas. Mike has been recognized for 14 years by theTexas Lawyer "Go-To Guide" as one of the top five appellate lawyers in Texas and numerous times by Texas Monthly as a "Texas Super Lawyer." He is also one of 300 elected members of the American Academy of Appellate Lawyers. Michele Locke is a former Associate Court Judge that has returned to private practice to continue pursuing her passion for family law litigation.   As a Judge, Michele ran a Domestic Violence Court focusing on Protective Order Applications, divorce, custody, child support, enforcement and other family law matters.   For a period of time, she also ran the Child Protective Services Court.  She is knowledgeable in contested family law matters that involve issues of domestic violence, stalking, harassment, and child abuse.
