Throughout my 39 years as a personal injury trial lawyer I have also been a dedicated sports fan; I am a season ticket holder to the Milwaukee Brewers, Green Bay Packers, and I attend several Wisconsin Badger games every year. In addition to following most major sports at both the college and professional levels, I am an avid reader of both fiction and non-fiction with an admitted soft spot for mysteries and historical fiction. I also play a fair amount of golf during the summer months.. My wife of 42 years, Anita, is a remarkably accomplished woman. Anita is an RN, a psychotherapist, holds natropathic certification`, and is a highly regarded actress in local community theater. Anita remains an indescribably valuable part of every facet of my life, professional as well as personal.. Perhaps my greatest non-work passion is for my 3 (soon to be 4) grandchildren. I am fortunate to have both my sons, their wives, and all our grandchildren right here in Milwaukee so I get to spend a good deal of time with each of them. Being a grandfather is one of life's greatest blessings.

Steve Kmiec was born on January 28, 1965 to Marjan and Jeanne Kmiec. Steve Kmiec is the youngest of three brothers. He attended grade school at St. Matthias Grade School on the Southwest side of Milwaukee. He graduate high school at Marquette University High School in 1983. He graduated from University of Wisconsin- Milwaukee on the Dean's List in 1988, with a degree in Economics. Thereafter, he attended Marquette University Law School, concentrating in personal injury and insurance law studies. He graduated from Marquette University Law School in 1991. Steve Kmiec has worked for the Kmiec Law Offices since 1984, initially as office manager. Upon receiving his law degree, he became an associate at the Kmiec Law Office, practicing in the area of personal injury law. He has successfully handled and tried cases involving automobile accidents, slip and fall injuries, products liability, worker's compensation, bad faith insurance claims and medical malpractice.

Mr. Pettit regularly advises and represents business clients, including those with Collective Bargaining Agreements, in the application of employment laws to everyday problems they encounter, including the negotiation and administration of Collective Bargaining agreements.

Jason R. Oldenburg is the founding member of the Injury and Disability Law Office of Wisconsin.  He graduated summa cum laude from Winona State University in 2001 and earned his law degree from Marquette University in 2004, graduating cum laude.
