My practice is devoted to immigration law, and to uniting families and keeping them united.. I am first generation Mexican American. My parents were both born in Michoacán, Mexico and came to the United States in the early 1970’s. They were beneficiaries of our immigration laws. They are two of the most hard-working individuals I know. They taught me to work hard, help others, and most of all, to be humble.. I obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Law and Justice from Central Washington University, and subsequently obtained a Juris Doctor from the Univeristy of Idaho - College of Law.  I have been practicing immigration law since 2010.

Born in the former Soviet Union in what is now Kazakhstan, a nation in Central Asia that gained its independence in 1991, Aliya knew from an early age what she wanted to do and her passion led her to the legal profession. She attended Eurasian National University in Astana, the capital and business center of Kazakhstan, where she received a Law Degree in International Law. Upon graduation, Aliya decided to further her education in the United States. Through a series of highly competitive tests, she became a candidate and eventual recipient of the prestigious Bolashak International Scholarship, which is awarded only to the best students in Kazakhstan. This afforded Aliya the opportunity to earn her Masters of Law degree (L.L.M.) from University of California - Davis.. As an immigrant herself, Aliya has firsthand experience with immigration and truly understands the stress and frustration that comes with the process, which can oftentimes be circuitous, confusing and prolonged as the landscape of immigration law constantly changes. Aliya understands these unique challenges and sympathizes with the struggles of immigrants and their families. It is with compassion, courage and commitment that Aliya has dedicated herself to assisting immigrants and non-US citizens as they navigate through the immigration process.. Aliya is fluent in both Russian and Kazakh languages.  She is a member of the California State Bar and an active member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA).

Jennifer Castillo is the owner and attorney for Castillo Law, PLLC, where her practice is focused only on US immigration law. Her area of expertise includes family based visas, U-Visas, VAWA, consular processing, Citizenship, DACA, AOS, and waiver cases. She does not currently handle removal defense or employment based visas. Jennifer has an intimate understanding of the workings of the US consular  process having gone through it with her family.. Zeina Djurovski is a Michigan native & resident and received her Juris Doctorate from Wayne State University Law School in 2006 and her Bachelor’s degree from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. Zeina has been in the private practice sector for over 10 years focusing on immigration and criminal law.. Zeina previously had the privilege to serve in the United States Senate where she was able to assist the great constituents of Michigan with immigration and other matters before various federal agencies, while also heading the Arab American and Chaldean American outreach on behalf of the office for over six years.. Zeina is a member of the State bar of Michigan and is also admitted to practice in United States District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan. Zeina is also a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA).

Arvinder Ubhi graduated from St Mary’s University, London, United Kingdom in 2008 with a Joint Bachelor’s degree (with honors) in History and Business Management. He continued his studies and earned his Juris Doctor, graduating Cum Laude, in 2011 from Thomas M. Cooley Law School in Auburn Hills, Michigan. During his studies at Thomas M. Cooley, Arvinder gained hands on experience in the legal world through interning as in-house counsel at Behr America, Inc., located in Troy MI. In this position Arvinder worked directly with the General Counsel to manage the legal liability and ensure Behr, its departments and employees complied with all state and federal laws. At the start of 2010 Arvinder interned with Plunkett Cooney, P.C., where he worked in the Real Estate department. Arvinder researched real estate issues, drafted legal memoranda for the attorneys in the department, and attended depositions and various court proceedings. From September 2011 to April 2012, Arvinder worked as in-house counsel at Renali Transport (a part of the Renali Enterprises, LLC., holding company). As a first-generation immigrant to the U.S., I have personal experience in navigating the immigration processes.
