Charles H. Mr. Barnett is a member of the Jackson-Madison County Bar Association (President, 1990); a member of the Tennessee and American Bar Associations; Defense Research Institute; and Tennessee Trial Lawyers Association.  He is a graduate of the National Institute of Trial Advocacy, he served as Assistant Attorney General for the State of TN from 1976 to 1978, and is a recipient of the Jackson-Madison County Association Pro Bono Award in 1989.  He currently serves as general counsel to the Health, Education and Housing Facilities Board for the City of Jackson..
