Brooke focuses her practice on a wide range of business, tax, nonprofit, and intellectual property issues, and enjoys working with clients to make even the most complicated legal concepts understandable and accessible. She regularly represents clients forming new business entities and nonprofits, seeking trademark and copyright registrations, or looking to structure their operations (or transactions) to minimize both state and federal taxes.. Brooke has a passion for working with local nonprofits to educate both board members and staff on how to achieve and maintain tax-exempt status and to ensure that their operations comply with the law in all respects.

I graduated from Washington State University with a degree in Political Science.  Go Cougs.  Afterward, I served three years in the Peace Corps in the Republic of Georgia.  I also spent a year in South Korea teaching English.  Upon my return, I chose Seattle University School of Law for its commitment to community service.  I currently edit "The Wheel" newsletter for my local Rotary Club and serve on the board.

Jeff’s business background gives him aspecial talent for addressing organizational issues, as he understandshow businesses run and where problems can arise.  Jeff has studied mediation and therapeuticjurisprudence, and has a demonstrated interest in alternative disputeresolution strategies.  He has a unique aptitude in elder law and mental health issues.

Kerry has helped many businesses retain and secure their intellectual property, has overseen successful acquisition, sales and mergers of businesses and worked closely with businesses to ensure successful business practices.. Kerry also works with non-profit businesses to obtain non-profit status, implement necessary corporate governance rules and obtain tax-exempt status with the IRS.. Before joining the firm, Kerry worked as a CPA with Arthur Andersen LLP. Her practice with Arthur Andersen LLP focused on audit and attest services with a large variety of companies. Kerry’s experience provides unique insight to her practice.. When she is not assisting clients with their legal needs, Kerry volunteers her time to local non-profits, as well as volunteers as a coach with a local high school track team.. Kerry graduated from the University of Nevada, Reno with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a major in Accounting. She attended the College of William & Mary School of Law where she obtained her Juris Doctor.

I claim to be a “local girl” as I was born right here in Reno, Nevada at St. Mary’s Hospital.  I lived on an alfalfa farm in Yerington, Nevada until age 5.  I then spent my remaining school-aged years growing up in Santa Rosa, California.  Upon high school graduation I returned to, what I have always considered my home in Northern Nevada, where I attended the University of Nevada, Reno.. I went on to receive my Juris Doctorate from the University of Tulsa, where I graduated in the top of my class.  I also earned a certificate in Health Law from the University of Tulsa.  During law school I competed on a national trial competition team, where I wrote the eighth highest scoring legal brief in the nation and received the award for “Family Law Student of the Year” from the Oklahoma Bar Association.  Additionally, my research work was published in the Fall 2009 Case Western Reserve Law Review in an article about commercial speech.  Furthermore, I was selected to be a law clerk for Administrative Law Judge Jeffrey Wolfe and spent my last semester working with the Social Security Administration.. Again, upon law school graduation, I immediately returned to Reno, where I can now finally say, is my permanent home.  Northern Nevada is absolutely stunning with its snow-capped mountains in the winter and crystal blue lakes in the summer.  I feel very fortunate to be able to call such a beautiful place “home.”. Thereafter, I happily joined Hardy Law Group where I now focus in the areas of corporate and business law, election law and Civil Litigation.  I also spend a fair amount of time on other, general practice types of cases.. In 2011, I graduated from Trial Lawyers College where I had the wonderful opportunity to work with and learn from some of the greatest trial lawyers of all time.. I am currently licensed to practice in Nevada and California, the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals and the Federal District Courts of Nevada, including the United States Bankruptcy Court.. David practices primarily in the areas of corporate law and business transactions. David enjoys working with budding entrepreneurs, small business owners, and non-profit executives.  Through Fennemore Craig's new Venture Accelerator Program, David assists entrepreneurs from formation to the day you get to sell your business.. David earned his law degree from Gonzaga University, where he also earned his Master's Degree in Business Administration in Entrepreneurship. While in law school David worked at SIRTI (now InnovateWashington), a technology based business accelerator/incubator, which mentors start-up companies and assists in accessing capital from Angel Investors or Venture Capital companies. David received his B.B.A. in Business Economics from the University of San Diego.. David was born and raised in Reno, Nevada. He attended Reno High School and recently married his high school sweetheart. In his free time, David loves to fly fish and spend time with his "Little Brother" from Big Brothers Big Sisters of Northern Nevada.
