Andrew graduated from Loyola University New Orleans where he obtained a B.A. in Psychology and Criminal Justice. After two years of traveling through Latin America and Europe, he returned to New Orleans and received his Juris Doctor from Loyola University New Orleans College of Law with a certificate in International Law. During his tenure in law school he participated extensively with Loyola’s International Law program, interacting with many of the top legal scholars and high-ranking judges throughout Europe.. Additionally, Andrew worked in the Stuart H. Smith Law Clinic & Center for Social Justice as a pro bono student attorney in the area of Immigration Law. As a law student, I had the opportunity to work for a federal judge in the Middle District of Louisiana. I also worked in the Gaming Division at the Office of the Attorney General. During my second summer at LSU Law, I was recruited by and worked as a summer associate at the New Orleans firm Montgomery Barnett. After that summer, the firm offered me a full-time job and when I graduated and passed the bar, I became an associate. At Montgomery Barnett, I handled disputes of all sizes, including appeals. I represented the local candle-maker as well as the Norwegian oil company. I was also called upon by Louisiana businesses for planning and advice. My solo practice started in 2012. I advise businesses and if necessary I represent them in court. Most of my business comes from client and attorney referrals and a lot of my clients are lawyers themselves. I’m particularly proud of the diversity of my practice and my clients benefit from this. After graduating from Tulane Law School, I started my career as an attorney in New York City litigating antitrust and securities and financial fraud cases for a decade. In Lehman Brothers Securities Litigation, I took several key depositions, including the deposition of the Chief Operating Officer.  I participated in lengthy negotiations of a global settlement involving one of the feeder funds in the Bernie Madoff ponzi scheme. In Freight Forwarders Antitrust Litigation, I conducted several interviews in Germany of employees of a cooperating co-conspirator.. Upon returning to New Orleans, I worked for the City of New Orleans as the city attorney for the Department of Public Works and Capital Projects Administration.  During my time in the City Attorney's Office, I handled every one of the City's construction contracts and assisted with construction litigation and public bid disputes. I returned to the private sector where I practiced business, construction, appellate, and employment law until fulfilling my career-long goal of starting my own practice.
