I graduated from Brigham Young University, receiving my J.D.,cum laude, in 1985 and my B.A. in American Studies in 1982. Afterward I began clerkingfor the Honorable Ricardo Hinojosa, United States District Judge,Southern District of Texas.. I grew up in Washington, and after completing my education and some work experience out of state, I returned to the Seattle area in 1987. I first worked as an associate attorney at the law firms of Karr TuttleCampbell (1987 - 1991) and Short Cressman and Burgess (1991 - 1992). Then, in 1993, I opened my own law office where I practiced for twelve 2005, I joined forces with Jacob Menashe to form Hickman Menashe,P.S.. I am a past Chair of the Elder Law Section of the WashingtonState Bar Association and a member of Washington State's chapter of theNational Academy of Elder Law Attorneys. I speak regularly tocommunity and service groups, such as the United Way, helping toeducate people about estate planning, special needs trusts and otherlegal issues.. I am active in my church and community, where I frequently work with theBoy Scouts of America. I enjoy spending time with my wife and twosons.

John has practiced in the Seattle area for 17 years.  After obtaining his Bachelor of Arts from the University of Washington, he obtained his juris doctor from Seattle University School of Law where he was an Associate Editor of the Law Review, the school’s law journal.  Prior to forming Hugg & Associates, John assisted clients with numerous business transactions, estate planning, contractual matters, real estate and bankruptcy issues while he was associated with Seattle area law firms.. John is active in the Bothell community where he is a member of the Greater Bothell Chamber of Commerce and currently co-chairs the Chamber’s Senior Resource Committee.  He is also a frequent speaker on the topics of estate planning and probate.. Alan Millet has maintained a private law practice in Sequim since 1981, with a general civil practice emphasizing estate planning, estate tax planning, wills, trusts, probate, real estate and business law.. Alan grew up in Sequim on a dairy farm and graduated from Sequim High School in 1969.. Alan received a Bachelor of Science Degree from BYU (Summa Cum Laude) in 1974, and a Juris Doctor degree from Arizona State University in 1979.. Alan is the recipient of Distinguished Service Awards from the Clallam County Pro Bono Lawyers in 1999 and 2009.  He has taught classes on estate planning for Peninsula College and for Clallam County Bar Association continuing education.

I am a passionate, focused young business professional and earned a J.D. at the University of South Dakota School of Law. During law school I focused on my studies as well as using my abilities to help those less fortunate that I through legal clinics, pro bono hours, and raising scholarship funds. I am ambitious in my pursuit of bettering my community, myself, and those I surround.
