I am a second-career attorney who started Adaptive Law Firm PS so I could offer legal services my own way. I pursued my law degree following a nearly ten-year academic career in urban planning and community development, and now apply my problem-solving mentality to a mixed practice of estate planning, land use and elder law. I represent my home district (District 3) on the Skagit County Planning Commission, and continue to teach as an adjunct professor in the accredited Urban and Regional Planning program at Cal Poly Pomona. I am a member of the Washington State Association for Justice (WSAF), a volunteer attorney with Community Action of Skagit County, and a licensed real estate broker with Windermere Real Estate / North Cascades.. I earned my J.D. from Lewis and Clark Law School in Portland, Oregon in 2011, where I emphasized agriculture and natural resources law, and my Ph.D. in Urban Studies from Portland State University in 2001. I also hold a B.A. in Planning and Environmental Policy from Western Washington University’s Huxley College in Bellingham, Washington. I am licensed to practice law in Washington and Montana.. If I am outside the office, I am probably hanging out with my kids Owen (age 3) and Zoe (age 1), running the amazing trails of Skagit County, baking gluten-free goodies that I may or may not share with others, or listening to elder law podcasts. Tiesha graduated from the University of Washington in 2003 with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in English Composition after which she began a career in the management of construction projects. She worked for three years with CB Richard Ellis as an Assistant Project Manager before opening her own company. As the owner of AGS Consulting Services, Tiesha spent five years assisting Seattle-based project management firms in various projects located in buildings such as the Smith Tower, the Exchange Building, Metropolitan Park and Seattle University.. In 2011, Tiesha moved to Boston, Massachusetts to attend New England Law | Boston where she graduated cum laude with a Juris Doctorate Degree. She was admitted to the Washington State Bar Association in 2015 and started her legal career as an Associate Attorney with Rainier Legal Center in Black Diamond. Working for a general practice firm allowed Tiesha to handle a variety of cases and gain experience in many different areas of the law. The mentoring and education Tiesha received under the senior attorney’s guidance provided a firm foundation for her future endeavors within the legal field.. In August of 2016 Tiesha ventured out on her own, intent on developing Everdeen Law into a firm known for it’s knowledge, compassion and efficiency.. I am an experienced and skilled litigator, and I pride myself in my written and oral advocacy skills. I am licensed to practice in all Idaho and Washington courts and have successfully argued cases to the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals and Washington appellate courts as well as state, federal, and bankruptcy trial courts.. Prior to joining Racine Olson in 2016, I practiced in Seattle, Washington with a nationally recognized mortgage banking law firm representing banks, credit unions, mortgage servicers, and trustees in mortgage and real property disputes.. I was born and raised in Pocatello, and I am thrilled to have settled permanently in Pocatello with my family. In my spare time, I am a fitness enthusiast and enjoy teaching group cycling classes.

Katherine graduated from the University of Notre Dame in 2012 with a double major in finance and medieval studies before attending Gonzaga University School of Law, where she graduated magna cum laude. At Gonzaga, Katherine was a member of the Federal Tax Law Clinic and focused her studies on tax law, estate planning, and environmental law. An avid fly-fisher, Katherine co-founded the Gonzaga Rod & Gun Club to educate fellow law students on the practices and legalities of fishing and hunting in the Northwest. In her free time, she also enjoys skiing, hiking, and horseback riding.. After representing the sport of professional rodeo as the first Washingtonian to win the Miss Rodeo America crown in 2016, Katherine began practicing law in Coeur d’Alene. Her experience includes serving as a public defender for Benewah, Kootenai, and Shoshone Counties, representing clients in natural resource, property rights, and environmental law matters, and assisting with generational transfers of wealth through tax and estate planning.
