Several years later, when her husband was starting his ownpractice, Melissa was thrilled to discover it was possible to establish lastingrelationship with clients and help them preserve and protect what matters mostto them.. Melissa graduated with honors from Brigham YoungUniversity's J. Reuben Clark Law School where she was a writer for theprestigious BYU Law Review.  She is amember of the Utah State Bar.  As amother herself, Melissa is uniquely situated to understand the desires andconcerns of her clients.. Melissa is married to her best friend, RobRoy, and has threebeautiful children.

I graduated from the University of Utah with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting in 2008 and earned Juris Doctor from UNLV in 2011. I went on to receive a Masters of Law (LL.M.) in Taxation from Georgetown University in 2012.. I practice includes estate planning, asset protection, trust administration, probate, guardianship, and business organization. I have established a strong reputation within the Las Vegas legal community for my expertise and provide continuing legal education courses in my areas of practice.. I am fluent in Spanish and am licensed in both Nevada and Utah and is a member of the Southern Nevada Estate Planning Council.. In my free time, I keep busy with my four children and volunteer as a coach for youth sports. I am licensed in Nevada and Utah.

Allison specializes in estate planning, special needs planning, adult guardianship, and probate matters. While attending college, she worked for Elder Law attorneys and developed a passion for working with older adults. She received a minor in Gerontology and spent countless hours volunteering with underserved seniors at a nearby senior living community. Allison continues to serve seniors by volunteering with the Senior Legal Clinic program at Liberty Senior Center.. Allison belongs to the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys and the Academy of Special Needs Planners. Allison is also an active member of the Probate Rules Subcommittee, the combined Estate Planning and Elder Law Legislative Committee, the executive committee of the Elder Law Section, as well as a former chair of the Elder Law Section.

After many years as a succesful business owner, I went back to get my law degree.  My personal experience helps me relate with the small business owner.  I act as "in-house" counsel for numerous business clients.  I specialize with helping families plan for their future at rates the avarage american can afford.. When I am not practicing law, I am usually spendng time with my family.  I also play drums and sing in a jazz group.
