I was born in West Michigan and have spent the great part of my life here. I have been married 28 years and have six wonderful children and the love of my life as my wife. I graduated from Kalamazoo College with majors in French and  History.  I have continued my interest in languages and have studied Italian, German and Spanish, in addition to French.. My interest in the Law arises from my strong belief that an individual needs to have an advocate when the power of the government invades someone's life.
