Luis Monroy is a Colorado native and has a Juris Doctorate from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law.  He earned his Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and minored in history at the University of Colorado at Boulder.  While in undergraduate school, he volunteered with the Student Worker Alliance Program where he taught English and life skills to migrant workers who were employed through the University.. Upon being accepted to law school, Luis received the Robert B. Yegge Memorial Scholarship.  After his first year, he interned with the Douglas County Office of the Public Defender where he worked on a high-profile death penalty case.  He later participated in the Criminal Defense Clinic where he worked as a student attorney on five municipal cases in various jurisdictions around the Denver metro area.  Luis concluded his law school career by interning with a private firm focusing his attention on criminal defense, family law, and the emerging regulations concerning Amendment 64.  Luis was also the co-president of one of the largest law student organizations on campus during his third year of law school.. After graduating in 2013, Luis interned with the Colorado Juvenile Defender Coalition where he was able to participate in a legislative interim committee concerning reform in juvenile defense.   In addition to policy work, Luis also implemented community outreach strategies in the Denver metro area for juvenile justice in Colorado.. Luis strives to be an impassioned advocate in his legal work and wants to make sure that his clients’ rights are protected at all times.  He knows that clients have struggles and emotional hardships attached to their legal issues, and will do everything he can to lessen the burden.  Since joining the firm, he has assisted in child custody disputes, divorce cases, DUI's, misdemeanors and felony criminal defense cases. He has also litigated countless cases for breach of contract, handled all types of real property disputes, and still enjoys advising businesses and their owners through ownership disputes and commercial litigation. Whether assisting closely held business owners resolve ownership and dissolution disputes, fighting fiduciary duty claims, or litigating complex claims to real estate, Chris’s experiences representing businesses help him effectively advocate for his domestic clients when their rights to the marital property are on the line. Chris obtained his law degree from the University of North Carolina and his undergraduate degree from Appalachian State University. Bryon was raised in Pierce County and returned to the Pacific Northwest after graduating from law school in Michigan.. While earning his law degree, Bryon exercised a passion for serving others through his involvement with several philanthropic organizations. He was a member of the Disaster Relief Legal Association and served as the treasurer of the J. Reuben Clark Law Society. He completed a legal internship at the Sixty Plus Elder Law Clinic, assisting qualifying seniors with various legal issues, and volunteered at other legal clinics.. Today, Bryon is a member of the Tacoma-Pierce County Bar Association, Family Law Section, and the Washington State Bar Association. He is proud to serve his clients who are facing divorce/separation, child custody, or child support issues.. When he is not working with his clients, Bryon spends his time with his wife, Lindsey, and their children, visiting area museums, parks and farmer’s markets. Alan J. Mamood (“AJ”) is an Arizona native, born and raised in Tucson, AZ. Like most of his family, AJ attended the University of Arizona where he graduated Cum Laude in 2011 with a Bachelor of Political Science and Criminal Justice administration. Shortly after earning his undergraduate degree, AJ relocated to Phoenix, AZ to attend law school at Arizona Summit Law School, graduating Cum Laude in 2015. AJ’s passion for family law began during law school, where clerked for a local family law firm for two years. During law school, AJ was also highly involved in the law school’s mediation clinic and served as a faculty research assistant.
