My family was pretty poor. My dad died when I was just 9 years old. When I got into the 10 grade, I got into a program that allowed me to work half a day and go to class the other half. When I graduated from high school in 1974, I went to work in a local sawmill. After that, I got a better job in a small oil refinery. I worked there until April 1976, and on the 19th day of April I went to work for DuPont Chemical.. I worked the next twenty years for Dupont. After working there for 13 plus years, I started going to college classes at night. On December of 1995, I graduated in the top of the class with a 3.95 GPA.. I started law school in August 1996, and graduated in February of 1999. Upon graduation, my wife and I threw a dart at a map and ended up here. Central Texas is my home. I love it here and I intend to retire here.. I became a lawyer to help people solve some of the most difficult and personal situations they have ever had to deal with. I respect everyone, and I treat people fair. I ask you to trust me to be honest with you, to assist you and your family to the best of my ability, in your time of need
