A Southern California native, I have always been passionate about my community. This is reflected not only in my current Pomona-based legal practice, but also in my previous choice of academic institutions.. As an undergraduate, I attended El Camino College and California State University, Dominguez Hills. I graduated in 2010 with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication. During my early years in college, I gained valuable insight into communication and public relations, which I continue to put into practice today.. After receiving my Bachelor of Arts, I enrolled at the Whittier College School of Law. I graduated in 2015 with my Juris Doctor. During my time at law school, I received exceptional instruction from some of California’s finest legal professionals.

I have over 35 years of trial and litigation experience, and I have the skills and credentials to achieve results in even the most complex disputes. I have received Martindale Hubbell's coveted "AV" rating, signifying preeminent legal ability and the highest ethical standards.  I am Certified as a Specialist in Family Law by the California Board of Legal Specialization, and with my wealth of experience includes serving as lead counsel in approximately 4,000 trials in state and federal court. In 2001 I began practicing family law in outstate Minnesota where I learned that family values are universal, and that regardless of the conflict we are presented with in family law matters, at the core, we are all motivated by a desire to ensure that our loved ones are cared for and provided for. I am reminded of this each time I represent a client in a family dispute, and more often than not, toward a permanent and workable resolution. Family was always important to me growing up.  My father’s family were pioneers that settled in Clark County in the 1800s and many are still there today.  My grandfather and grandmother met when they were both in law school at University of Oregon and I remember that feeling of awe when I would get to visit him at his law office.  I could tell that important work was happening, and that my grandfather was helping people.  So a few years after finishing my undergraduate degree, I knew I had to follow in his footsteps.. Like my family before me, I feel an obligation to help people and to make a difference in my community.  Family law was an obvious choice.  I have two little boys myself and know the joys and challenges of raising children.  At Landerholm Law we really focus on protecting children and on helping them move forward from a divorce in a way that is least damaging.  Another passion I have is that I believe everyone should have access to justice, and so for the last four years have been building a practice that allows affordable access to legal services in the family law arena.

I am one of the few attorneys I know who set out to be a Family Law Attorney when I went to law school.  I like assisting people in one of the most traumatic legal problems that they face, and enjoy the challenge of finding a resolution that works for them, and if there is not one, taking the case to trial.. I take a holistic view of my family law cases, and listen carefully to my clients needs and wants, and focus on what is reasonable.  I am always willing to listen to my clients before I make any suggestions, and I usually give my clients more than one option depending on how the scenario plays out with the other partner.. The Boy Scout Motto is "Be Prepared.", and that is why I listen to my clients, so I can prepare a case around their needs, and work towards a resolution that meets those needs.  Every client and case has its own distinct uniqueness, and each client is a person experiencing the no "Win" scenario of divorce.  I recognize this and treat each client as a person, not just another number.. I am an avid movie fan.  This helps me be quiet and observe, and soak in all of the details.  I am a supporter of the arts, and an active member of the Phoenix Art Museum.  I enjoy bicycling and hiking.  I do both at my own pace.  I also enjoy Yoga to refresh my body, mind and spirit.
