Samantha Sauer attended the University of Florida, Levin College of Law after receiving a BA in Legal Studies at the University of Central Florida with a minor in Political Science. During her law school tenure she was voted President of the Law Transfer Student Organization and was a member of numerous other organizations. In addition to her academics, she interned at Three Rivers Legal Services, an organization devoted to providing legal assistance to the under privileged, and developed a passion for family law. Specifically, Samantha assisted attorneys in dissolution of marriage, domestic violence, and paternity cases. At this point Samantha knew that this was the area she would practice upon graduation. Over the course of her law school career, she concentrated the majority of her course load to family law and obtained a certificate in family law upon graduation in 2016.. After she graduated from the University of Florida, Levin College of Law, Samantha began as an associate attorney in Boca Raton, Florida. While there she primarily practiced family law cases including dissolution of marriage, child support, timesharing, alimony, modifications, and paternity actions as well as probate, personal injury, and contracts. Eventually, Samantha made the decision to come home to Central Florida so that she could be closer to her family. At this point, she joined the Kendrick Law Group and looks forward to her continued practice in family law, as well as beginning to expand her practice areas so that she may better serve her clients.. I am a solo practitioner in Orlando. I obtained my Florida Supreme Court Board Certification in Juvenile Law on August 1, 2017.  I and 93 other Florida lawyers were the first members of the Florida Bar to qualify for this honor, as this is the first time certification has been offered in this area of the law.

Mercedes attended law school at the University of Florida starting in January 1995 as a single mother and finished law school in two and a half years.  To her surprise, she wasn’t the only “non-traditional” law student and she rapidly became a huge Gator fan!  After graduating in May 1997 from UF, Mercedes and her son returned to Central Florida.  Her son, Alex, graduated Winter Park High School and is now a graduate of the fire academy.  Mercedes is very involved in the arts community, and balances the stress of practicing law with running and yoga.Law is a second career for Mercedes.  After growing up in Central Florida, attending high school and college here in Orlando, she earned a Bachelor of Science in Engineering degree from the University of Central Florida in 1985.  Mercedes worked mostly in the military defense industry for the next 10 years.   But going to law school was always in the back or her mind.  When a dear friend died of cancer at 36 years old, Mercedes decided she could no longer ignore what she really wanted to do. Mercedes worked in the areas of products liability, commercial litigation, insurance defense, government defense and charter schools.   In 2001, a yoga teacher approached Mercedes about helping her with a divorce.  Although she did not practice in that area, with the assistance of another attorney, she took the case.  Through that experience, Mercedes realized that family law was what she wanted to practice.  She went out on her own full-time in 2002 and never looked back!Mercedes R. Mariavittoria “Vicky” Eggebrecht, was born in Orlando, Florida. Vicky attended primary, middle and high school in the Dr. Phillips area and went on to the University of Central Florida. While attending UCF she obtained a Bachelor’s of Science in Business Administration: Marketing. After graduating from the University of Central Florida, she went on to receive her Juris Doctorate from Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University College of Law in Orlando, Florida. Upon being admitted to the Florida Bar, Vicky began her practice of law as an Assistant State Attorney for the Ninth Judicial Circuit in Orange County. During her tenure as a State Prosecutor, Vicky handled every aspect of Criminal Law Practice. Community Involvement. One of the high points of Christine’s life was as an elected delegate to the 2008 National Democratic Convention, where she saw history in the making as a major political party nominated the man who would go on to be the nation’s first African-American President. While attending the convention in Denver, she was thrilled to meet one of her personal heroes—former President Jimmy Carter. Christine is very involved with the local Democratic Party and currently serves on her homeowners association board of directors. She has served on WMFE’s Community Advisory Board and is a 2008 graduate of Seminole County’s Citizenship Academy.. Family. Christine knows the highs and lows of family life. She has been a young, struggling single mother, but for the last 17 years she has been happily married. She and her husband live in Oviedo with their daughter, and her adult son lives in nearby Sanford.
