Megan is a long time resident of DuPage County, having graduated from St. Francis High School, in Wheaton, Illinois. She attended the University of Arizona, where she majored in Political Science. During her undergraduate studies, she received honors such as the Academic Award of Distinction and initiation into Pi Sigma Alpha, a political science honorary.  Megan was also selected for a legislative internship with U.S. Senator Jon Kyl.  Additionally, she was active in College Republicans and the Catholic Newman Center Club..
