I became an attorney to help people.  I love getting to know my clients and helping them find solutions to the problems they face.  Every case is different.  I make it a point of getting to know my clients as I find it helps me argue their cases; a personal connection helps me tailor my advocacy to fit the unique facts presented.  A personal connection also helps me identify potential challenges that may lie ahead.  As a general practioner I take pride in offering a balanced and informed perspective to my clients that helps them achieve the best outcome possible in their case.. I am a graduate of Reed College and Lewis & Clark Law School.  I was a Lead Articles Editor for the Lewis & Clark Law Review.  I am admitted to practice before the Oregon State and Federal district courts.  I am also an avid, all-season bicycle commuter.. In my spare time I enjoy hiking and camping with my wife and daughter in the beautiful Pacific Northwest.  I also enjoy making delicious (if unhealthy) baked goods and collecting records, coins and stamps.

My practice focuses on families and children, encompassing dissolutions of marriage, child custody, parenting plans, and protective orders. I have a passion for working with underserved populations and survivors of domestic violence.. I graduated from the University of Oregon with a BA in psychology and a minor in anthropology in 2013. I received my law degree from the University of Oregon School of Law in 2017, earning a Public Interest Law Concentration, a Family Law Concentration, and a Pro Bono Award for service to the community. I was admitted to the Oregon Bar the same year.. During law school, I worked closely with the Domestic Violence Clinic on campus, representing indigent survivors of domestic violence in family law matters. I also worked as a law clerk for Thorp, Purdy, Jewett, & Wilkinson, P.C. in Springfield, Oregon. After graduating from law school, I served as a judicial clerk to the Honorable Charles M. Zennaché at the Lane County Circuit Court in Eugene, Oregon. I joined the Reynolds Law Firm in January 2019, and became a partner in January 2025.. I am a member of the Oregon State Bar Family Law Executive Committee, and work on the Family Law Conference each year, a member of Albany Rotary, and a board member of Friends of Philip, a small animal and fish sanctuary. In the past, I have been on the board of directors and a committee leader at the Center Against Rape and Domestic Violence (CARDV), was on the Wine and Whiskers Committee at Heartland Humane Society, volunteered with Furniture Share, and participated in the 2019-2020 Leadership Corvallis program.. Lorena is the managing attorney at The Reynolds Law Firm, PC, where her practice focuses on family law.. She is the 2006 recipient of the Mary Zelinka Advocate for Social Justice Award and a 2010 recipient of the OSU Woman of Achievement Award for her dedication to stopping domestic and sexual violence.  She is a member of the Board of Directors for the Center Against Rape and Domestic Violence, having served as the agency's President, Treasurer, and as Chair of many committees since 2000.  Her firm has provided over $1,000, worth of pro bono legal services to survivors of domestic violence, stalking, and child abuse and to help children who are being negatively impacted by the drug or alcohol abuse of a parent.. In 1997, Lorena was hired by Oregon Legal Services, which is now known as Legal Aid Services of Oregon (LASO), as an AmeriCorps attorney.  Stationed in Ontario, Oregon, she spent a year representing low-income survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, and stalking.  In 1998, she was hired as a Staff Attorney for the Albany Regional Office of LASO.  For the next six years, she represented low-income clients in a variety of areas, including family law, special education, and administrative hearings.  She represented clients at hundreds of hearings and trials and handled many appeals on impact cases.  She also worked on legislative committees and statewide task forces, representing the interests of impoverished Oregonians and survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, and stalking.. Lorena teaches Sociology 345 at Oregon State Univerity: Crimes and Violence in Intimate Relationships.  She is also a frequent speaker and trainer on many issues.

Jay Bodzin was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan, and moved to Oregon in  1998 to attend  Reed College. He graduated in 2002 with a B.A. in Political Science, and a Senior Reactor Operator's license for Reed's nuclear research reactor - the first political science major to ever hold this position. After graduation, he worked as a dispatcher for a small locally-owned delivery company. In 2004, he entered Northwestern Law School at Lewis & Clark with a Dean's Fellowship for Academic Excellence. He graduated in 2007, with honors awards for pro bono work and community service. In 2008, he opened the Northwest Law Office, a collaborative workspace for solo practitioner attorneys to develop their practices. After nine years in solo practice as a domestic relations litigator, he joined the firm of Kivel & Howard, LLP as a research associate. He has since joined McLain Legal Services in 2023.Jay served as Secretary of the Oregon State Bar's Pro Bono Committee in 2010, and as its Chair in 2011. He later served as Chair of the Oregon State Bar's Unlawful Practice of Law Committee. He currently volunteers as a mentor to new attorneys through the Bar's New Lawyer Mentoring Program. Tate Justesen has worked in family law for many years, and is based in Multnomah County, where he gained valuable experience in the practice of family law and clients' needs, including issues such as divorce/separation, custody, parenting time, spousal support and assets division.. While he is based in Multnomah County, Tate handles cases in multiple counties throughout Oregon, including Washington and Clackamas Counties. Tate also has experience in environmental law issues from his work on federal grazing rights issues for the Western Resources Legal Center.. Originally from rural Central Oregon (near the rafting & fishing town of Maupin), Tate has a great appreciation for the outdoors.
