Before starting her own practice, Camilla J. Rogers practiced as a health care attorney to the Greater Baltimore Medical Center and supported local attorneys in trial practice. Prior to entering this field, Mrs. Rogers worked in various hospital administration positions in Maryland and Ohio after obtaining advanced degrees in nursing.

I am excited to be practicing family law in Harford County, where I grew up and currently reside. Prior to entering private practice I had the privilege of serving as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable William O. Carr, Administrative Judge of the Circuit Court for Harford County. Katherine Kole Thompson has been a resident of Harford County for her entire life. She attended Harford Day School and the John Carroll School. Katie completed her undergraduate degrees in biology and psychology at Boston College in 1990, graduating cum laude and as a Scholar of the College. While at Boston College, she competed on the varsity swimming team and completed the Boston Marathon in 1990. Returning closer to home to attend law school at the University of Maryland, Katie graduated from law school in 1993 and was admitted to the Maryland Bar that same year. While attending law school full-time, Katie was a student attorney representing juvenile offenders, served as associate editor for The Business Lawyer Law Journal, and worked as a law clerk for two law firms.. After graduating from law school, Katie worked for one year as the law clerk to the Honorable William O. Carr, Administrative Judge of the Circuit Court for Harford County. This allowed her to work in the Courthouse, become familiar with court personnel, and obtain first-hand knowledge of the local court’s inner workings. When Katie finished her clerkship with Judge Carr, she began her private practice in Bel Air, MD.. Katie works in the areas of family law (divorce, custody, visitation and child support), criminal and traffic defense, and personal injury (auto accidents and medical malpractice). I grew up in rural Tennessee, and my first career was in technology. I moved to Maryland to take a job at the University of Maryland College Park. I realized that I preferred working with people instead of computers and went to law school. After law school, life had another challenge for me and I had a battle with cancer. An Anne Arundel County native, I graduated from University of Maryland Baltimore County, with honors, in 2008 and the University of Baltimore, School of Law in 2011, where I was a member of the Phillip C. I am a native of Anne Arundel County, Maryland, and have focused my legal profession in the area of family law.  After law school, I began working with  law firms as an associate attorney focusing mainly on family law cases.  I have successfully negotiated and resolved numerous divorce and custody cases, and I have tried numerous contested divorce cases and contested custody cases across the State of Maryland, with my primary practice in Anne Arundel County.  Not only have I represented parties in divorce and custody actions, I have also been appointed by the Court as a best interests attorney for children.  Additionally, I volunteer some of my time at the Circuit Court for Anne Arundel County as a facilitator to help mediate cases at Scheduling Conferences.. In recognition of my standing in the legal community, I have been designated as a Rising Star by Super Lawyers and Baltimore magazines for the past three years.. In regards to my education, I received my Juris Doctor degree from the University of Maryland School of Law in 2003.  During law school, I served as an Affiliate Editor of Margins Law Journal and served as a summer judicial clerk for the Honorable Judge Philip T.
