When Laurie was rescued she was pregnant and soon gave birth to 13 puppies -- 1 solid black, 3 or 4 black and white and the rest white with champaign ears. Her last puppy was adopted out on the day I got her.. Charlotte is 2. Laurie is 5. They are wonderful and fill my home/office with joy and fun.. OTHER HOBBIES AND AVOCATIONS. I am a scrapbooker and I have all the gadgets. It helps me keep my right and left brains balanced.. I am also a seminary student at Dallas Theological Seminary at the Houston Extension. I am working on a master's degree in Christian Education. Since all of the women in my family live to between 93 and 101, I am just preparing myself for the last third of my life.
