She received her Juris Doctorate Degree from the University of Wisconsin Law School in Madison, Wisconsin in 1995. Sue moved to Wadena, Minnesota in 1996 and has worked for District Court Judge Timothy J. Baland and Legal Services of Northwest Minnesota.. Sue is a member of the Minnesota State Bar Association and the Seventh Judicial District Bar Association. She is also a member of the Wadena Area Volunteers, a community service organization. Sue serves on the board of directors for the Wadena County Developmental Achievement Center and for the Wadena Deer Creek Education Foundation.
