I am the founding Partner of Killmer Lane's Western Slope office based in Carbondale, CO. I've devoted my entire legal career to representing people whose rights have been violated. I have only represented people – and never corporations or other large entities – who have been subjected to abuses of power. I have extensive experience with issues ranging from police misconduct to prisoners' rights to disability rights to employment discrimination and retaliation, and more. I joined Killmer Lane as an Associate Attorney in 2013. Since then, I have been part of the winning trial team in several major employment and civil rights cases. This includes the Marvin Booker v. City and County of Denver case, which resulted in the largest civil rights jury verdict at the time in Colorado history. I became a Senior Associate Attorney in 2016 and a Partner in 2018.

Born and raised in Southern California, Justin received a B.A. degree in History from Brigham Young University, Provo, Utah and a Masters of Philosophy from the University of Dublin, Trinity College, before receiving his Juris Doctorate degree from the J. Reuben Clark School of Law at Brigham Young University.. Justin’s practice has focused on the areas of general litigation, securities law, entertainment law, trademark and copyrights, commercial/business law, Title VII (discrimination) cases, real estate and construction law, municipal law and appellate practice. Justin has also represented musicians, artists, film production companies and record labels in his practice.. Justin also released several critically and commercially successful albums under the moniker “SLEEPTHIEF.”. Jeremy was a Collin County Prosecutor and he has tried over 200 jury cases – virtually all criminal. He has received Not Guilty verdicts at every level of State Court from first-degree felonies to serious misdemeanors.Jeremy was selected to the Texas Super Lawyers list in 2019. This recognition is given to less than 5% of the attorneys in the state.
