I am a second generation divorce lawyer. My parents started our practice in 1982. I have been working for them since I was old enough to file! (But really.). I did my undergraduate degree at Northwestern University. After which, I earned my MBA from the College of Charleston and attended law school at the College of William and Mary in Virginia.. I am proud to continue to help my family by helping yours through difficult times. I believe the more information you have, the better decisions you are able to make. The law provides a level of empowerment when people feel heard, supported, and informed. This is one of the reasons I have been so drawn to legal work and specifically in working for those who are facing challenging circumstances or major changes in their lives. As a lawyer, I drawn on my legal education but also my educational background in family psychology, social work, and family interventions. I try my best to understand my clients' situations and see how I can most effectively help them acheive their objectives. Often times, clients' objectives are not to "win" but to have security in their next chapter of life.  Other times, they need a fierce advocate to assert their position in court or in negotiations. Whatever a client needs, I aim to show them the strongest case through ethical and strategic actions. And while I set advocacy aside when meeting with parties in mediation, I try to bring the same spirit of educated negotiations, constructive ways to find solutions, and ultimately confidence to take the next step.

My office is in Mobile, but much of my practice involves cases in Baldwin County.
