Shelbie Hankey is a native of Cullman County, Alabama. After working full-time while completing her Bachelor’s degree in Political Science, she was accepted into and attend law school at Cumberland School of Law. She has lived in several different states, including studying law in London, England where she was living when the 9/11 attacks happened. After returning to the United States, she completed her law degree and worked for one of the largest firms in Alabama, Maynard, Cooper and Gale, P.C., where she worked in mass tort litigation. She believes her life experiences lend her the ability to more effectively relate to and better represent her clients.. Shelbie has been practicing law since 2004. She returned to Cullman and opened her firm here in 2008. She believes thoroughly that all clients deserve dedicated representation and an attorney that will effectively communicate with them throughout the duration of their case. Cassandra, a graduate of the William S. Richardson School of Law joined Doi/Luke, Islandlawyers in 2015 as an associate attorney.  Prior to her legal education, Cassandra did her secondary education at I’olani School in Honolulu, and received her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Williams College in Massachusetts.. During her time in law school, Cassandra volunteered with the Hawaii Judiciary, working with the Ho’olokahi Parent Facilitator Program and the Office on Equality and Access to the Courts.  Additionally, Cassandra was an active member of the Students for Public Outreach and Civic Education (SPOCE), Law for Youth Empowerment, and the Filipino Law Student Association.. Cassandra has a long interest in working with youth and in family law, and practices exclusively in the field of divorce and family law.

Colleen is a native of Detroit, Michigan but has spent the majority of her childhood and adult life in Georgia. Colleen graduated from Georgia State University in 2014 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice. She subsequently attended The University of Mississippi School of Law where she obtained her Juris Doctor in 2018. Colleen also spent her final year of law school at the University of Miami School of Law, where she simultaneously obtained her Master of Laws degree in Entertainment, Arts, and Sports Law in 2018.. Having witnessed family and friends throughout her life navigate the various challenges of family law and the legal process in addition to dealing with the frustrations of not having adequate, and at times competent, legal representation, Colleen finds great fulfillment in being able to guide her clients through such an emotional process with compassion, patience, and empathy.. In her free time, Colleen enjoys swimming, cooking, watching movies, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.
