I grew up in Hastings, Nebraska and then moved to Vermillion, South Dakota for my undergraduate degrees in Criminal Justice and Political Science. After my time at USD, I moved to Omaha, Nebraska to attend Creighton University School of Law. When I went to law school, my ultimate goal was to come back to a small community in western Nebraska. Fortunately, I was able to! I love the small town life.. During law school, I clerked at a Family Law firm which did primarily divorces, custody modifications, and paternity. Now that I'm practicing myself, I also do juvenile work, criminal defense, and estate planning along with my beloved family law.

Adam R. Little grew up on a small farm in rural North Dakota, where he honed a strong work ethic and a down-to-earth attitude. Adam received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biotechnology and a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science from North Dakota State University in Fargo, ND in 2008. Adam remains an avid supporter of the NDSU Bison.. After graduating from NDSU, Adam relocated to Lincoln, Nebraska to attend law school at the University of Nebraska College of Law.  Adam received his Juris Doctorate Degree in 2012, and completed a Program of Concentrated Studies in both Intellectual Property and Space, Cyber, and Telecommunications law.  While in law school, Adam was involved in the Student Bar Association, was a founding member of the Student Intellectual Property Law Association, and competed in the Grether Moot Court and Allen Moot Court competitions, as well as the ABA Mediation, Client Counseling, and Arbitration competitions.  Adam was also a member of the UNL National Moot Court Team, reaching the regional semi-finals, and the UNL Space Law Moot Court Team, which finished as national semi-finalists.. Adam joined Ballew Covalt Hazen, PC LLO as a clerk in November 2012, and was hired as an associate in January 2013.  He is licensed to practice in both North Dakota and Nebraska, as well as the United States District Court for the District of Nebraska. Adam’s expertise in cyber law and technology issues carries over into his practice, as well as his knowledge and experience in agriculture.  Adam focuses his practice on matters involving family law and has a passion for civil appellate litigation.

With over 10 years combined experience as a prosecutor in Sumner, Harvey, and Cowley Counties, I bring a background in Child in Need of Care (CINC) cases to Ward Law, where I represent parents, grandparents, and interested parties and appeals for both CINC cases and family law cases. I also prepare premarital, postmarital, and nonmarital agreements and appeals for clients of Ward Law.. Originally from Yorktown, Virginia, I graduated from the University of Virginia in 2003 with a B.S. in Commerce. After graduating from college, I taught English to German students at a college preparatory high school in Trier, Germany, as part of the U.S. Fulbright teaching assistant program. I graduated magna cum laude from the University of Tennessee College of Law in 2007 with a concentration in Advocacy.. I started my career as a family law attorney in Richmond, Virginia, in 2007, and am licensed to practice law in both Tennessee and Virginia. Since returning to Tennessee in 2009, I have continued serving clients in the areas of Divorce, Custody, Child Support, Adoption, and Juvenile Law. I also practice in the areas of Estate Planning, Wills and Trusts, and Estate Administration. I am a member of the Blount County, Knoxville, and Tennessee Bar Associations.. When not at work, I enjoy spending time with my husband, Forrest (a pharmacist for Walgreens), and our two children, George and Caroline. We have three dogs, including a Vizsla and two rescues.
