Attorney Kathleen M. Hubbert’s passion for estate planning began while she  was attending Franklin and Marshall College.  She interned at a boutique estates and trusts firm during college and while attending Widener University School of Law, where she focused her studies on estate planning and administration.  Kathleen was also a staff member of the Delaware Journal of Corporate Law and volunteered with Wills for Heroes.. During her second and third years of law school, Kathleen interned with the Superior Court of Kent County and the New Castle County Court of Common Pleas.  After graduating from Widener in 2013, Kathleen worked as a law clerk for the New Castle County Court of Common Pleas.. Kathleen is a member of the American Bar Association-Real Property, Trust & Estate Law Section, the Pennsylvania Bar Association, and the Delaware State Bar Association, where she is a member of the Estates & Trusts and Elder Law Section.  She is admitted to practice law in Delaware, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania.

Jim is the founder and president of the Estate Planning Law Group of Blazek & Gregg, P.C., L.L.O., a unique law firm that devotes its practice to Estate Planning, which includes wills, trusts, edler law, Ag estate planning, and estate administration.  The firm serves clients throughout Nebraska and Iowa.  Jim is an Omaha native.  He graduated from the University of Nebraska at Lincoln in 1978 with a B.S. in Business Administration and concentrated in Finance.  Jim received his Juris Doctor degree from Creighton University School of Law in 1981.  In 1982 he was admitted to practice before the United States Tax Court.  He has been assisting clients with their Estate Planning and Business Planning needs for thirty-seven years.  Jim is a member of Wealth Counsel, the Omaha Estate Planning Council, the Esperti Peterson Institute, and the Nebraska Bar Association.  He has received the designation of Advanced Wealth Strategies Planner from the Esperti Peterson Institute in 2002.  Jim has received a Martindale Hubbell Peer review rating of VERY HIGH in Legal Ability and Ethical Standards.. For many years, Jim has helped train accountants, insurance professionals, and other attorneys in Estate Planning and Business Planning strategies.  He has a special interest in helping farm families preserve their farms.  He is co-author of Estate Planning for Farmers and Ranchers (2014) and (2013), Estate and Tax Planning for Qualified Retirement Plans and IRAs in Nebraska (2002), Limited Partnerships and Limited Liability Companies (1999), How to Draft Wills and Trusts in Nebraska (1996), and Elder Law-Taking Control (1995), all published by the National Business Institute.  In addition, he is contributing author for Generations-Planning Your Legacy (1998), Giving: Philanthropy for Everyone (2002), and Love, Money, Control: Reinventing Estate Planning (2004), all published by the Esperti Peterson Institute.  Jim serves as a Forum Moderator for Omaha Christian Business Men's Connection and on the Board of Omaha Youth for Christ.
