After serving as a judicial clerk, practicing law for 21 years, and most recently serving for 18 years as a bank senior trust officer and general counsel, I am again practicing law, now with Shawn Snyder, a domestic relations and mediation specialist.  We practice as Parks Snyder, PLLC.  I practice in the areas of trusts and estates, domestic relations, and conflict resolution.  I have always felt that it is a high honor to be a lawyer, and I enjoy putting my legal skills and experience to work to benefit clients and to participate in the administration of justice.

Shawn McBrien has been practicing law since October, 1986 when he was sworn in by the Tennessee Supreme Court. Shawn is a graduate of Cumberland School of Law at Samford University, where his father attended law school while located in Lebanon.. Upon graduating and passing the bar, Shawn began his career in Chattnooga, Tennessee. In 1987, he and his wife Karen moved to Wyoming where he passed the Wyoming bar exam and practiced five years before returning to Lebanon, Tennessee.. Shawn has focused his 30-year career on helping his clients with wills, trusts, estate planning, probate, business development, contract law, business and commercial law/litigation, and family law. Formally trained in Family and Civil Mediation, Shawn regularly mediates family, business and civil matters..
