Attorney Gordon earned his Juris Doctor from Villanova University School of Law and his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Bridgewater State College. At Bridgewater, he was appointed Secretary of the Political Science National Honors Society and awarded the President’s Award for Academic Excellence as a Freshman and the Elizabeth Luster award for Excellence in Political Science. He spent a semester interning in the Massachusetts House of Representatives for the Office of the Republican Party Leader.. During Law School, Attorney Gordon interned with the Plymouth County District Attorney’s Office and the United States Attorney’s Office and was awarded the Center for Forensic Economic Studies award for Excellence in Litigation.  Upon graduating law school, he was sworn in as Assistant District Attorney for the Norfolk County District Attorney’s Office where he successfully prosecuted hundreds of criminal cases in all of the county’s five district courts and was appointed to the county’s Motor Vehicle Homicide Unit.. After serving as an associate with a criminal defense law firm, Attorney Gordon created The Law Offices of Nicolas A. Gordon, Esq.  Over the years, he has successfully represented clients accused of myriad charges in many of the Commonwealth’s District and Superior Courts.  He has also represented clients in administrative law proceedings appearing before the United States Department of Defense Office of Hearings and Appeals.

I was admitted to practice in 2005. After a short stint in a general practice firm where I did everything from recovering funds confiscated by the DEA to guardianships, care and protections to divorces and custody and paternity disputes, I opened my own office in 2007.. I have been concentrating in the areas of civil litigation, 93A, collections, consumer and creditor rights, and landlord/tenant.. I spend a great deal of my time litigating civil cases in courts throughout the Commonwealth.. I do some transactional work, and am open to new challenges.. In addition to my practice, I have enjoyed teaching at local colleges since 2006. I have enjoyed positions at UMass School Law, Bridgewater State, Fisher College, Massasoit and Bristol Community Colleges.

From January through June, 2010, Attorney Withers worked as a Clinical Instructor at Harvard Law School, where she supervised three law students and co-instructed a family law course as part of the Domestic Violence and Family Law Clinics at the university's Legal Services Center.Attorney Withers has served for four years on the Board of Directors of New Hope, Inc., an Attleboro-based domestic violence agency. Cindy was born in Providence, Rhode Island to Ecuadorian immigrants who came to the United States in 1968. For many years she knew she wanted to practice law, and began her career by receiving a Masters degree in Criminal Justice with a core concentration in International Policy and Relations. Cindy attended Roger Williams University School of Law in Bristol, Rhode Island and graduated with her Juris Doctor law degree in 2010. Cindy's practice concentration has been in asylum and refugee law. In 2019, Cindy traveled to Karnes, Texas to volunteer for two weeks in the detention centers of the South. She spent her time preparing detainees for their upcoming credible fear interviews in support of their asylum claims. Cindy has experience in courts across the country including California, New York, Texas and more..
