Stark, J.S.C, Superior Court of New Jersey - Bergen County Vicinage upon graduation from law school.

Sharon Kessel joined the firm in April 2002 as an associate. She is a graduate of New York Law School (J.D. 1992) and Emory University (B.A. 1987). She is licensed to practice law in New York, Connecticut, Georgia and New Jersey. After graduating from law school, Sharon joined the Bronx County District Attorney's office prosecuting felony narcotics cases for 4 years. Thereafter, Sharon joined the prominent Manhattan medical malpractice defense firm of Martin, Clearwater and Bell representing hospitals, doctors and nurses for 5 years.  Sharon plays an  integral role in the preparation and prosecution of hundreds of cases for Blume Goldfaden clients, including conducting depositions of parties, witnesses and experts, arguing motions, performing legal research, preparing legal briefs and working with experts.  Sharon's experience and work have contributed to the exceptional results secured by the firm.

Sometimes it’s as if Kate Feroleto can read the insurance company’s mind. She knows the insurance company’s strategies in trying to deny or minimize payment on a claim. It’s from her experience working at defense law firms.. But Kate wanted to represent people facing challenges. “I was taught from a young age to stand up for those who cannot for themselves, to call out greed and wrongdoing, and always seek justice. I’m proud of how I was raised – that’s why I’m a passionate advocate for our clients.” Kate is proud to be a Buffalo injury attorney, helping those during their greatest time of need.. Kate understands that filing a lawsuit can be a stressful experience. She does her best to make sure her clients understand and feel comfortable with the process while getting the best possible results.. Kate is an alumna of the SUNY Buffalo Law School, Canisius College and the Buffalo Academy of the Sacred Heart. She is active in the community and created a scholarship fund at Sacred Heart in honor of her graduating class. Kate was the 2023 commencement speaker at Buffalo Academy of the Sacred Heart.. Kate has been recognized by the New York State Bar Association and has presented at National and State legal conferences. She is a member of the Academy of Truck Accident Attorneys where she is co-chair of the women's caucus. Kate is also a member of the New York State Bar Association and is the Vice President of the Western New York Chapter.  When not practicing law, Kate is traveling and active with her husband and three children who love swimming, skiing and other sports activities.

Rich began studying law in the evenings at New York Law School in 1998, while continuing to work full time as the firm's claims adjustor.  Rich graduated in 2002 from New York Law School, and then, after passing the Bar in New Jersey, became a Blume Goldfaden Associate.. Now, as an attorney, Rich applies his extensive knowledge and contacts within the insurance industry to handle cases surrounding automobile accidents, premises liability and other types of personal injury claims.  In 2005 alone, Rich obtained in excess of 1.5 million dollars in settlements for Blume Goldfaden clients.. Rich recently handled a case for a man who had previously lost both legs below the knees due to diabetes.  He was then involved in a motor vehicle accident where he sustained fractures to both of his thighs, causing him to be wheelchair bound until the fractures healed.  Rich was able to settle the case for the full $200,000 available policy limit within a remarkably short 30 days.. Rich is a member of the American Trial Lawyers Association, and a member of both the Essex and Morris County Bar Associations.
