I am a husband and father of five wonderful children.  I am a Sunday School teacher at First United Methodist Church in Dothan.  I have been practicing law since 1998.  I started off as an insurance defense lawyer working for two great attorneys, Herman Cobb and Steadman Shealy.  Herman and Steadman taught me a great deal about the practice of law and I am forever indebted to them.  After four years as a defense lawyer, I changed firms and started representing injured people almost exclusively.  I became law partners with Joey Morris, Tracy Cary, Mark Andrews and Cory Driggers.  I am proud to work with these men, all of whom are committed to zealous and ethical representation of people in need of help.  Our office is in Dothan, but we handle cases in the surrounding area from Montgomery to Columbus to Albany to Tallahassee.  We try to remain faithful to our values in a profession where it is sometimes hard to do that.  We have been privileged to represent some of the most wonderful people in the Wiregrass.  We thank them for putting their trust in us.  We look forward to many more years of serving the people in our community.

Dean Smith was born and raised on a working dairy and beef farm in Holly Pond, Alabama. Dean is a graduate of Saint Bernard Preparatory School in Cullman, AL. Dean received a Finance degree from Auburn University, and received his Juris Doctor from Belmont University College of Law in Nashville, Tennessee.. Prior to joining Fuller, Willingham & Carter, Dean was a legal intern for NFP Team Scotti in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania assisting in brokering high-limit disability insurance for Major League Baseball player contracts and helping to solve complex legal issues that the MLB faced. In December of 2022, Dean joined Fuller, Willingham & Carter, LLC.. Dean and his wife, Kacie, are members of Cullman First Baptist Church. Dean is proud to represent the great people of Cullman County and North Alabama.

Tiffany Tolliver is an associate at Serious Injury Law Group. Tiffany is a graduate of The University of Alabama School of Law and cum laude graduate of Spelman College in Atlanta, Georgia, where she earned Bachelor of Arts in English degree. In 2011, Tiffany earned a Master of Arts in Teaching degree and served as an educator for four years.. Prior to joining the firm, Tiffany was able to gain valuable courtroom experience. She was a member of the Black Law Students Association (BLSA) Trial Advocacy Team and served as Director of Membership for the Southern Region of BLSA. Staying true to her desire to help others, Tiffany completed over 90 hours of volunteer work including providing legal and dedicated hours of service to the less fortunate, received the Dean’s Community Service Award, and the Student Pro Bono Award. In addition to the pro bono award, Tiffany received the Order of the Samaritan, which is the highest public service award bestowed by the University of Alabama School of Law. Tiffany also received the Excellence in Service Award that is awarded to the top three students in her class for their commitment to community service. She also worked in the law school’s mediation clinic, where she mediated family law cases. TIffany also participated in the university's study abroad program where she spent eight weeks in Canberra, Australia studying statutory interpretation.. Growing up in small town Livingston, Alabama, the close-knit community instilled morals, values, and tenacity into Tiffany that she brings into her law career. These experiences have given Tiffany the opportunity to offer her relentless dedication to reaching out to others. Her legal skills are based on serving and pursuing what is utmost important for those she serve.. Away from the office, Tiffany enjoys reading, particularly literary works by Toni Morrison, spending time with family and friends, traveling and has recently vested an interests in DIY projects.

Nicolas was born in Baltimore, Maryland and planted Southern roots growing up in Hoover, Alabama. He attended the University of Alabama, majoring in Political Science with a minor in Spanish.. Honored with the Bo Cole scholarship, Nicolas received his J.D. from Samford University’s Cumberland School of Law. There, he was nominated for Who’s Who Among Students in American Universities & Colleges and served on the Editorial Board of the American Journal of Trial Advocacy.. As an associate attorney at Cory Watson, Nicolas focuses his practice on motor vehicle litigation and serious personal injury claims.. When asked what his favorite thing about helping people through the law is, Nicolas responds, "Knowing that I can potentially provide some peace of mind with their legal issue is rewarding. I believe a personal injury lawyer’s role in the community is to help individuals who have gone through an unexpectedly difficult time, and let them know that someone cares about righting whatever wrong afflicted them.". Nicolas remains active with the Cumberland School of Law, especially the Admission Office. In his free time, Nicolas enjoys spending time with his wife and family, watching Alabama Football or Real Madrid soccer, expanding his vinyl collection, and learning new languages. He often visits the rest of his family in Chile, staying close although they live on two different continents.
