Jacob (Jake) M. Steinkemper attended Arizona State University in 1992 on a baseball scholarship. During college Jake was drafted and played professional baseball. After a shoulder injury ended his playing career, he returned to ASU and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1998. Jake went on to earn a Juris Doctorate in 2002 from Creighton University School of Law, and a Masters of Science in 2005 from New York University. He is admitted to the Nebraska Bar Association, the State Bar of Arizona, and a member of the Nebraska Association of Trial Attorneys. In 2012, Jake was named “Top 40 Under 40” by the National Trial Lawyers. His practice focuses on Workers’ Compensation and Personal Injury.

Molly Steinkemper graduated from University of Nebraska-Lincoln in 2000, and Creighton University School of Law in 2003.  She worked for a law firm in New York City from 2003 to 2005, and for the City of Tempe (Arizona) from 2005 to 2011.  In 2012, Molly and her husband Jake opened Steinkemper Law, PC, LLO focusing on Workers' Compensation, Personal Injury, and Veteran's Benefits.

After having represented workers’ compensation insurance companies for close to 16 years, Sara’s practice now consists of representing injured workers only. She understands the tactics the insurance companies use to deny claims and uses her significant experience to obtain the maximum benefits that her clients are entitled. She also understands the frustration that comes along with needing medical care and compensation benefits and having the insurance carrier delay or deny those benefits. She recognizes the stress that occurs when her clients are injured and can’t work. When she is not working on behalf of her clients, Sara loves to watch her children play sports. She is also a huge dog lover and can often be found working with her golden retriever, training him to be a therapy dog.. Sara grew up in small town South Dakota and graduated magna cum laude from Mount Marty College in Yankton, South Dakota in 2000 with a Bachelors degree in history, criminal justice and minor in art. She attended Creighton University School of law and graduated in 2003, during which she competed in moot court and was nominated in 2002 for Creighton’s best brief in a moot court competition.. Sara is licensed to practice law in both the States of Nebraska and the State of Iowa. Sara has prosecuted countless trials in both states and argued in the appellate and supreme courts.

Since graduating from South Dakota State University with a degree in human development and family studies, Tara has dedicated her career to speaking up for others. She spent five years as a mental health and substance abuse clinician before accepting a position with the State of Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services in child protection. She advocated for children and families for nearly five years with the State of Nebraska before making the decision to attend law school at Creighton University.. Tara served as a law clerk to the Honorable Leigh Ann Retelsdorf, Judge of the Nebraska Douglas County District Court and is a member of the Phi Delta Phi International Legal Honor Society. Prior to joining Hightower Reff Law, Tara litigated cases in workers’ compensation, personal injury and family law cases. Tara is a member of both the Nebraska and Iowa Bar Associations and the Nebraska Association of Trial Attorneys.

Originally from Stanton, a small town in Northeast Nebraska, Staci graduated with honors from Wayne State College with a Bachelor of Science in Speech Communications, and minors in Pre-Law and Political Science.  While attending Wayne State College, Ms. Hartman-Nelson polished her speaking and acting skills by participating in Intercollegiate Forensics and Theatre.. Ms. Hartman-Nelson earned her Juris Doctorate from the University of Nebraska College of Law, where her coursework was focused on civil litigation. While attending law school, she served as a Law Clerk at Atwood, Holsten & Brown, a workers' compensation and personal injury law firm in Lincoln, Nebraska.. Ms. Hartman-Nelson's current practice is focused on litigation and negotiations, primarily in the areas of workers' compensation and personal injury. She is licensed in both the State and Federal courts of Nebraska.. In her spare time, she enjoys theater and nearly all sporting activities, either as a spectator or a participant, as well as spending time with her friends and family.
