I completed both law school and a Masters of Science in Public Health in 3.5 years, one semester early. During law school, I was President of Students Protecting Minors and I also served as Treasurer of the Health Law Association and competed in multiple intraschool competitions.. My legal internships included time with the United States Committee for Refugees and Immigrants (USCRI) in Raleigh and with the Office of the Public Defender in Wilmington. I also completed four study abroad programs during law school.. During high school, I and my mother ran a local dog shelter together in Wilmington, NC. Harold Staley has enjoyed a successful career as a proven litigator. Prior to joining Elrod Pope Law Firm in 2002, Harold worked at the law office for the now-Honorable Robert E. Watson in Moncks Corner, South Carolina. From there, he came upstate and served as Assistant Solicitor under former Solicitor/now Elrod Pope partner, Tommy Pope for the 16th Judicial Circuit.
