Fencing company damaged my neighbors irrigation system

Location: Kansas Hello, I had a company install a fence last year in December. Part of that included a “sprinkler protection fee” stating if they damage my irrigation system. They would do their best to fix it but if it was too difficult. They would hire a professional to come fix it and the fee would waiver any damages I would have to pay to fix it? During the installation they hit a pipe and let me know. I ran my irrigation system and didn’t find any issues so I moved on. My neighbor called me to let me know one of his sprinklers was damaged and water was as just pooling out of the ground. I’m wondering how to fix this and who would be liable? I’m guessing my neighbor would have to file a claim against the fencing company and the company would be responsible for damages. Is there anything that I would need to do? I’ve already reached out to the company to let them know and have them offer to fix it.
