What would I be able to do about this?

child custody attorney Oregon Aug 9, 2026
Location: Gresham, Oregon I served my ex a status quo order on July 14th and the order says not to — •hide the child/children from the other parent •not to interfere with the child’s usual schedule •allowing the other parents parenting time •not to leave the state or change the child’s place of address It is now August 9th and I’ve yet to get a picture of my daughter. On July 12th she factory reset her phone and left a note saying “I’m tired of the arguing, I want to co-parent like adults and I’ll reach out in due time” she left no address or contact information as to where my daughter will be. She then filed for custody and attempted to serve me on July 13th. In her petition she asked for 50/50 custody and no child support. She also used a P.O. Box as a mailing address so I have no clue where my daughter is at. The status quo was granted by a judge and was put in motion after he signed it. What can I do now? I have a hearing on the 19th of this month. Should I wait till the hearing? Or would I be able to file for contempt?
