New Building Owners of Commercial Lease Agreement

I have owned a small retail business in Wisconsin for 14 years. Two years ago I needed to move my business to a new location and signed a 5-year commercial lease agreement with a building owner I had known for 10 years. She was always easy to work with, helpful, and was practical in nature. A few months after I moved in she sold the building. The new owners are a father and son. The son is pleasant to work with, but the father is condescending and "old school." I have requested a few things be repaired, but essentially nothing has been done. The rent and overhead is considerably higher than my previous years of experience. I am at the point I want to either sell my business or close. I specifically signed with the original owner because I had known her. I did not agree to a lease commitment to the new owners. I can sub-lease, but I need to obtain prior written consent and approval of the lessor. Do I have any legal "out" at all because of a change in the ownership of the building that I had no control over? Location: Wisconsin
