My grandma died, what happens to the house?

Location: Texas Her will has the house being left to me, my aunt, my uncle, and my mom. Everyone is willing to sign their parts over to me, as me and my kids lived in the home with my grandmother for the years leading up to her death. My uncle is supposed to be the executor of the estate, but we haven't started probate. Is probate something we absolutely have to do? And we just had foundation work done just a few months ago, she was making payments to GreenSky. I can't afford the same payments she was making, what can happen now?
