Liability release form for car collision

car accident attorney Minnesota Aug 20, 2026
Location: Minnesota, USA, twin cities region. I perpetrated a minor car accident in a parking garage the other day when I rear ended my neighbor’s unoccupied car while I was trying to park and left a small dent/scraped the paint. I left my number and she got a copy of my insurance after she messaged me. I’m a new/young driver and my insurance is veryyy high right now at $300 a month and I offered to pay out of pocket. She sent me the quote the auto shop sent her and it’s $1200 which is less than my deductible. I will happily pay if that means I’m done with it and my insurance won’t skyrocket but I’ve heard a liability release form is super important so you don’t get screwed over. The only problem is I DONT KNOW HOW TO GET ONE I search for information online and all I see are these templates that don’t provide much protection apparently or people that tell you to get one without explaining how to do so. Please help it’s urgent thank you
