Foreclosure threatened

foreclosure attorney Florida Aug 25, 2026
Location: Florida Long story short, about 20 years ago my grandmother put a reverse mortgage on the house to do renovations. I’m not sure how much but it was over 200k. She did a lot of work of the house. The deal was, she doesn’t have to pay as long as she is alive and living in the house. Recently our house insurance company was brought by another company. They are threatening foreclosure if we don’t pay 4K to them. Even though we have never been late or even extended insurance payments. I just want to know if this is legal? And if it is, how is it legal?
