How can I find my adoption records?

Location: South Mississippi Good morning everyone, I hope your day is going well. How can I find my adoption records online? I have a lawyer, but she isn't exactly very concerned or helpful. Would I need to go to the court and ask myself? She said she was going to file a motion and send it to the judge but its been almost a week and I really need this information. I was adopted by my biological mothers aunt and uncle, who then became my parents. I am trying to get money from a trust/annuity that would really help me out right now and they told me I need paperwork explaining why my last name was changed. Thank you in advance. P.S.
