Personal injury options

personal injury attorney Wisconsin Jul 28, 2026
I got injured a couple months ago and I need advice on next steps. Location: Wisconsin. Basically I was on a guided tour. There weren’t real good step railings and I slipped. I was helped up quickly by staff almost too quickly and I ended up fainting. I got some bad injuries that required hospitalization and surgeries with more to come. I don’t want to get rich off this but I’d like medical payments covered. No injury lawyer will touch it because it’s not a slam dunk and isn’t going to be a huge settlement. I even asked about hourly retention to help me navigate the company and their insurance but was told no by one last week. He seemed sincere but seemed like was just out for a big case. Do I have any self options? Small claims wouldn’t cut it my portion of this medical is already in the 10k range. Am I just stuck? Any advice? I’ll be bankruptcy bound with my insurance copays and deductibles. I think the company has some culpability here but also understand that it could have been underlying medical issues combined.
