Child Support Ordered Before Hearing - KY

Location: Kentucky Hey all, first time posting in this sub Reddit. My girlfriend has been in an ongoing custody battle for the past 8 months with her ex. It's been very messy, but the just of the story is that my girlfriend's ex has been an absentee parent for the last two years, and filed for 50-50 custody last year. My girlfriend makes about 80k per year. Her ex works for his godfather's company as a CFO. In one of his motions, HE filed for child support and furnished very bogus tax returns which showed that he was making about $50k per year. This included a 'business expense' for a company truck. The judge refused to sign that motion which lead to the first hearing. At the first hearing, GFs lawyer examined him in his tax returns and I was told that the questioning went very well. He was panicking and divulged that he filed his taxes himself, and was floundering during several questions.The second hearing date is on three weeks, however her lawyers office emailed her today that the judge signed the motion so that the child is on a 3-2-3 schedule and she owes him $700 per month. The hearing is still scheduled. Her ex is rich with family money. His mom bought his house 10 years ago, he's the CFO at his family company and almost has no expenses. He's been filing motion after motion, which has absolutely depleted her of her money. We're shocked at how this could have happened before the second hearing. How could she possibly owe child support when she's essentially raised third child without him? She's never asked for money. He has only come back into the picture once he found out that we were dating. I know that she needs to figure this out with her lawyer , and I've asked that she press him for answers as she is regularly redirected to his paralegals who haven't been helpful. What can we expect moving forward? Is there something that anyone could recommend for her to pursue in a motion to make this right? This absolutely reeks of embezzlement or fraud. I'm just not sure how to support her in this moment.. it's been such a tough day.
