David C. Skinner was raised in Birmingham Alabama, received his undergraduate degree from Tulane University and his J.D. summa cum laude from The University of Alabama School of Law. He graduated first (1 of 96) in his Army Judge Advocate (lawyer) Officer Advanced Course. Prior to law school, Mr. Skinner served on active duty with the U.S. Army as a commissioned officer. He graduated first in his Artillery Officer Course, second in his MLRS (Rocket/Missile) Leader's Course and received certifications as an OSHA Hazard Communication Instructor, Hazardous Waste Manager and Formal Schools Instructor. David is also a Federal Ethics Counselor (US Army). Following his military service and prior to practicing law, Mr. Skinner worked in management in the hazardous materials transportation (trucking) industry in Alabama..
