Sean Kraut was born and raised in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. He attended the University of Manitoba and received his Bachelor’s degree in Criminology and Political Studies. He then attended the University of North Dakota School of Law, before moving to Arizona to begin his legal career.. In law school, Sean focused his studies on criminal law, where he interned at both a prosecutor’s office and a public defender’s office.
