Marisha graduated from the University of California, Los Angeles with a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature and a minor in Anthropology. She earned her Juris Doctor from Loyola Law School, where she also served as an articles editor for the Loyola Law Review. Marisha is a frequent speaker on estate planning issues.. In her free time, Marisha loves traveling with her husband and daughter, taking her two miniature dachshunds to the beach, experimenting with new recipes and supporting events sponsored by the Los Angeles City Fire Department, of which her husband is a member.
