First off I feel very ashamed and stupid already but I don’t know what to do…. So I’m kinda talking to people on Reddit since I’m alone and don’t know who ask. I found a car on FB marketplace that looked to be in my budget. Location: Colorado Denver $3800 I reached out the guy on Saturday asking if I could take a look and meet him and he said yes he’d be home all day I brought my dad with me to help since I had never done this. My dad told me he GOT the car fax and he was gonna help me run the vin. My dad said everything looked good. So I went and took it for a spin and found it was in good condition. They told me they owned the car for 8 years and it was there moms they drove it to Austin a few times and that’s why it had high mileage through the years. And what they had replaced and according to my dad it matched up on the carfax Only thing that needed replacing was the windshield and back brakes. Okay normal maintenance. No worries. That’s where it falls off, I ask them since it’s the weekend (Sunday ) if I can come back tomorrow (today) with cash if they’d sell it to me. And they said they thought I’d buy it today and others are coming to see it. So they offer I pay $1000 in cash I could…
