Mr. Snihur was admitted to the Florida Bar in 1986.  He obtained his Juris Doctor Degree from the University of Miami School of Law in 1985 and a Bachelor of Business Administration majoring in International Finance & Marketing from the University of Miami. Before changing career paths to becoming a lawyer, Mr. Snihur attended the University of California at Los Angeles, Mount St. Mary’s College, in Los Angeles, California, Aspen Music School in Colorado and Interlochen Center for the Fine Arts in Michigan, where he studied Classical Piano Performance with many renowned musicians and music coaches.  He was born in New Jersey and grew up in South Florida where he met his law partner and wife, May L. Cain.  Mr. Snihur focuses is practice in the areas of business, civil litigation, wills & trusts, probate & estate work, guardianship, and is currently an Adjunct Professor of Law at Barry University, where he teaches several courses, including Civil Litigation, Business Law, Legal Research, Legal Writing and Probate Law. Mr. Snihur has served on the Editorial Board of the Florida Bar Journal and News, is a former Editor of the Broward County Bar Association’s Barrister, Chairman of the Publications Committee of the Broward County Bar Association, Broward Lawyers Care, United Way, and served on the Membership Committee of the Association of Trial Lawyers of America and the Board of Directors of the North Dade Bar Association.  He is a member of the Florida Association for Women Lawyers, Miami-Dade Chapter.  He has authored several articles and edited publications for various publishers.  He was also Guest Editor of a special issue of the Florida Bar Journal, “Legal Ethics in Florida” and authored the “Florida Civil Practice Guide now on CD-ROM” for the Florida Bar News.  Mr. Snihur served on the Executive Committee, Board of Governors,  Board of Trustees, and on the Presidents Council, of the Florida Philharmonic and acted as liaison to its affiliate organizations for many years.  He was appointed to the Philharmonic’s Annual Fund Campaign Leadership, Long Range Planning Committee, and was President and Founder of Philharmonic Affiliate, MAESTRO Broward and Co-Founder and Director of Finance of MAESTRO Dade.  He also served on the Board of Directors of the American Institute of Wine & Food, South Florida Chapter, and was editor of its publication, The New World Times. Mr. Snihur also serves on the Parents Council at the University of Miami.
