Following his discharge from the Marines, Brandon worked as an emergency medical technician, became a CPR and first-aid instructor, managed a horse ranch, trained as a welder, and became a master scuba diver trainer and full cave diver before finishing his undergraduate degree.. Brandon and his wife Dawn have two sons, two daughters, and a smattering of grandchildren. They also have a Great Dane, a Coconut Lab, a Black Goldendoodle, a Maltese, and two spoiled cats. Marian Lindquist is a Florida native, born in Fort Lauderdale.. Ms. Lindquist dropped out of high school in her junior year, but soon earned a GED and began attending Broward Community College.  Later she transferred to Florida Atlantic University, graduating in 1988..
