Mr. Tani serves clients in a wide range of practice areas, including automobile accidents, premises liability, products liability, construction defects, real property disputes, trust and probate disputes, first and third party bad faith cases, insurance coverage issues through declaratory relief actions, sexual harassment, sexual assault, wrongful termination, and personal injury.. Mr. Tani’s vast experience includes numerous jury trials, bench trials, arbitrations, uninsured and underinsured private arbitrations, and mediations. He has argued before the Hawaii Supreme Court and served as an arbitrator in the State of Hawaii Court Annexed Arbitration Program.. Following law school, Mr. Tani clerked for the Honorable Robert G. Klein, formerly Associate Justice of the Hawaii Supreme Court. He also served as a Deputy Public Defender for the State of Hawaii for four years. After working as an Associate Attorney at Reinwald O’Connor & Playdon for five years, he joined Rush Moore LLP in 1999 and became a partner in 2002.
