Michael earned his Juris Doctor from Washburn University Law School in 2010 with a Certificate in Business and Transactional Law with Distinction.. In law school, Michael frequented the Dean’s List and graduated in the top 10% of his class. He was a legal intern with Washburn’s Law Clinic in both Civil Litigation and Small Business and Transactional Law.. Michael received his Master of Laws at the University of Georgia School of Law with an emphasis in International Business.. Michael obtained his Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice from Southern Utah University in Cedar City, Utah. While attending school, he interned with SUU’s Public Safety Office. I was born and raised in Green Bay, Wisconsin. I attended the University of Wisconsin – La Crosse where I graduated with highest honors and received a B.A. in Economics and Spanish in 2007. After receiving my undergraduate degree, I became a small enterprise development Peace Corps Volunteer in Benin, West Africa. I was born in Southern California but moved to Arkansas as a youth. I was the first in my family to attend college and graduated from the University of Notre Dame in 2002 with a Bachelors in Sociology and Psychology. After college, I spent seven years as a parole/probation agent. Through this experience, I saw the need for quality legal representation for immigrants.
