Firm: Lake City Law
Practice Areas: Mediation
I am a North Idaho native and I love practicing law in North Idaho and Eastern Washington. My understanding of the region, my intense work ethic, and my desire to help others is a great combination for a profession that requires helping people solve unique and often complex legal problems.. Practicing in rural areas like Rathdrum, Priest River, Bonners Ferry, St. Maries, and Newport requires a broad range of legal expertise and skill. However, I try to focus my practice on probate and estate work, mediation, and representation of governmental entities.. Practicing in a lawfirm with other very talented attorneys that have a broad range of exertise allows me to put my clients in the very best hands for their legal needs. If there is something that I don’t handle, another lawyer in our firm can.. The variety of legal practice areas and the high level of quality and innovation that Lake City Law provides is what makes it such a spectacular firm to be a part of and I am honored to practice with such well respected, experienced attorneys.

Firm: Davis & Walker
Practice Areas: Mediation
Layne Davis, founding and managing partner of Davis & Walker, is focused on providing mediation services, particularly for parties in all family law related matters, including divorce, child custody, child support, spousal maintenance, and asset division (including real estate interests, businesses, retirement accounts and debts). Layne Davis, licensed as an attorney by the Idaho State Bar since 1994, is considered one of the top family law mediators in the state where his practice focus is to assist clients in developing out of court settlements.. At Davis & Walker, our commitment is to assist parties in facilitating a mutually agreeable solution while encouraging parties to retain control of these family matters, typically at a notably reduced financial and emotional burden when compared to more traditional litigation methods. While mediation is not suitable for all matters, we strive to provide a basis to determine through collaborative efforts whether this alternative dispute work might avoid the courtroom.. Central to our practice is maintaining client confidentiality, fostering respect for all parties, and conducting our work in an impartial and unbiased manner. We value providing a safe environment where each party is heard and to the degree possible, to provide a mechanism for family centered outcomes. We hope you will give us the privilege to work with you.
